EFFECT OF ANTIOXIDANT THIOPHAN ON OXIDATIVE STRESS PARAMETERS IN RATS DURING ADULTHOOD
Using the methods of biochemical blood plasma analysis, there have been examined the integral characteristics of oxidative stress in rats under long-term application of glucocorticoids. The increase in free radical products of lipid peroxidation — malondialdehyde and diene conjugates — as well as the depression of the key antioxidant enzymes that is superoxide dismutase and catalase have been revealed.
