A ROLE OF FIELD SHELTERBELT DESIGNIN OPTIMIZATION OF AGROLANDSCAPESOF AREAS NEAR THE RIVER OB OF THE ALTAI TERRITORY
There was studied the effectiveness of field shelterbelts of various design in snow accumulation and distribution on the fields, soil moistening, and yield of spring wheat. The biological stability of forestations as well as their effect on soil erosion and fertility elements has been determined. The variants of forestation design being the best for optimization of agrolandscapes have been revealed.

MODELS OF GRAIN CROP PRODUCTIVITYAND MINERAL NITROGEN CONTENT IN CHESTNUT SOILS
Based on the results of long-term studies, there were built the mathematical models of mobile mineral nitrogen content and productivity of grain crops under typical conditions of chestnut soils moistening in dry steppe of Buryatia that allow forecasting the nitrogen regime of soils and yield of wheat, barley and oat taking into account supply with moisture and nitrate nitrogen.

NET PRODUCTIVITYOF SPRING BARLEY PHOTOSYNTHESIS
There are set out the results of field and laboratory research on studying varietal differences in spring barley as to net productivity of photosynthesis. A degree of effect of growing techniques on indices of net productivity of photosynthesis has been determined. The close relationship between yielding capacity of barley and dry biomass accumulation in ontogenesis has been established.
