RESPONSE OF MID-LATE VARIETIES OF SPRING WHEAT TO PHYTOSANITARY MEANS AND NITROGEN FERTILIZERS


The response of mid-late varieties of spring wheat Omskaya 30, Omskaya 37 and Sibirskaya 14 to application of chemical plant protection agents and nitrogen fertilizers has been considered. The peculiarities of forming plant production process depending on a forecrop and a level of intensification have been revealed.

ON THE ISSUE OF CLIMATE-DEPENDENT YIELD OF AGRICULTURAL CROPS


The various schemes and methods for evaluating climate-dependent yield have been analyzed. There is suggested the method for calculating yield of agricultural crops dependent on agricultural climate based on a model of soil-climatic zoning and productivity of agrolandscapes.

EFFECTIVENESS OF APPLYING SEED PROTECTANTS IN SPRING GRAIN CROPS


In field experiments on spring barley and wheat, there was investigated the effectiveness of applying chemical protectants and tank mixtures with biopreparations to control root rot and fungi of the genus Fusarium.

NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF CERTAIN GENES (TRAITS) IN SOFT WHEAT


There is shown the presence of negative effects of genes R 3, Rht 2, Q, Brg determining red color of grain, short stem capacity, square head capacity of ear and its brown (grey-smoky-colored) color, respectively, in soft wheat. There is proved a possibility to take the data obtained into consideration under visual evaluations and selections during a breeding process.

STUDYING THE GENETIC ACTIVITY OF IMMUNOMODULATORS IN SPRING BARLEY


The genetic activity of immunomodulators Chitozar M, Albit and salicylic acid has been established by means of the Waxy test system and by identifying chlorophyll mutations in M2.

BIOMORPHOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF ENGLISH BLUEGRASS UNDER LAWN CULTIVATION


The biomorphological peculiarities of English bluegrass (Festuca pratensis L.) have been studied in a free development and under lawn cultivation. The positive effect of mowing down on vegetative productivity has been established. The techniques for increasing vitality and ornamental qualities of this plant in lawn grass stand have been revealed.

There are set out the findings of biochemical investigations of meat and by-products of ringed-seal fishery in Taimir. It has been established that they contain a complex of biological active substances including major mineral and trace elements, fatty acids, amino acids and vitamins that enables to extend the spectrum of foodstuffs and raw materials for producing new medicinal preparations and food supplements of various purposes.

EFFECT OF PREPARATION SEDIMIN ON PRODUCTIVE QUALITIES OF REPLACEMENT HEIFERS


There are set out the results of experiment on determining the effect of the preparation Sedimin on reproductive qualities of Black-and-White replacement heifers. It has been established that double administration of the preparation under conditions of a ration lacking in iodine and selenium positively affects the increase of their productive qualities.

There are given the results of investigations on the effect of a Red Steppe heifers-raising technology on morphological parameters of blood as well as on a level and dynamics of thyroid
hormones. It has been established that calves being raised in the cold from the age of two days possess higher adaptive capabilities.

DYNAMICS OF ARTEMIA EGGS DIGESTIBILITY IN LAYING HENS


There were investigated the parts of gastrointestinal tract in laying hens of commercial flock that received feed supplement of Artemia cysts. It has been established that the biological characteristics of the digestive system structure in hens provide the complete absorption of cysts contents when adding them to feed at the rate of 4.5 % of a ration.

EMICIDINE APPLICATION AGAINST MYOCARDIODYSTROPHY IN COWS


There are set out the results of investigations on using the emicidine preparation for treating myocardiodystrophy in high-producing cows. It has been established that application of this preparation improves metabolic processes in myocardium, has vegetotropic action, and normalizes the functional condition of heart and the intensity of oxidation processes in the animal organism.

EFFECT OF PHARMACOCORRECTION METHODS ON PROCESSES OF LIPID PEROXIDATION AND ANTIOXIDANT DEFENSE IN CALVES ILL WITH BRONCHOPNEUMONIA


There are set out the results of investigations on using preparations Algasol, Nitamin and E-selenium in a complex therapy of calves ill with bronchopneumonia. It has been established that application of these preparations hastens the terms of normalization of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant activity of erythrocytes and blood plasma.
