EVALUATING THE EFFECT OF PHYTOSANITARY MEANS ON PRODUCTIVITY OF MID-RIPENING SPRING WHEAT VARIETIES
Fungicides and insecticides were established to have effect on the elements of structure and on the yielding capacity of mid-ripening spring wheat varieties bred in Siberia. The peculiarities of forming a phytosanitary situation in the sowings were revealed depending on varietal traits of wheat.

THE METHOD FOR EVALUATING ORNAMENTAL QUALITIES OF THE GENUS BEGONIA L. REPRESENTATIVES UNDER INTRODUCTION
The ornamental characteristics of flowers and leaves in 120?taxa and 66?cultivars of the genus Begonia introduced in the Central Siberian Botanical Gardens, Novosibirsk, have been evaluated on a basis of original scales. The begonia varieties being the most promising for landscaping have been revealed.

EFFECT OF INTENSIFICATION ELEMENTS IN GROWING TECHNOLOGY ON YIELDING CAPACITY OF SUNFLOWER UNDER CONDITIONS OF ALEYSK-RUBTSOVSK STEPPE OF THE ALTAI TERRITORY
There are set out the results of field experiment on studying the effectiveness of intensification means in growing sunflower. There is shown the change in weed infestation, in yielding capacity and in oil content of seeds as well as the cost efficiency of crop growing depending on a variety or a hybrid, on plant protection means and on a seeding technique.

There were studied the immunomorphological blood values of cows from the farms of the Omsk Region with various ecological characteristics. It has been established that the animals are in immune depression under a higher level of environmental pollution.

BREEDING WORK ON IMPROVING MEAT QUALITIES IN LARGE WHITE PIGS
There are set out the results of studying the effect of the Yorkshire and PIC boars’ genotype on productive qualities of offspring. The effectiveness as to early maturity and fat thickness with half-blooded hybrids from PIC boars has been determined.

BIODIVERSITY AND APPLICATION OF BRINE SHRIMP ARTEMIA IN AQUACULTURE
Using the RAPD-PCR methods, there was revealed the affinity between Artemia populations investigated in Russia and in some neighbouring states. A. salina (A. tunisiana), A. franciscana, and A. persimilis are united into an outgroup.

THE USE OF LIQUID NUTRIENT MEDIUM TO CULTIVATE PATHOGENIC STRAINS OF THE MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS COMPLEX
A liquid nutrient medium was developed to cultivate the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex using organic and inorganic components. The comparative analysis of growth of various Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains was carried out on the control liquid medium and on the experimental one; the findings are given.

VARIOUS SCHEMES OF MYCOTOXICOSIS PROPHYLAXIS IN CHICKENS
There are given the findings of experimentally studying various schemes of mycotoxicosis prophylaxis in chickens. It has been established that the application of ceodo as a feed additive promotes a gain in the live weight in young poultry against the background of feeding them with low-toxic feeds and under single inoculation with a mixture of toxins.
