There was studied the effect of various crop rotations and continuous cropping on the structure and aggregate composition of leached chernozem soils of areas near the River Ob.

ENDOGENOUS VARIABILITY OF ANOMALOUS TETRAD FREQUENCY IN THE MEIOSIS OF MICROSPOROGENESIS IN TETRAPLOID RYE


A direct relationship between population average values of the anomalous tetrad frequency and the display of endogenous variability of a trait has been revealed. It is shown that the endogenous variability, when studying the dynamics of populations in space and in time, can be levelled by reducing the number of florets being analyzed within the ear under statistically grounded sample of ears.

POLLEN QUALITY OF SIBERIAN PEAR VARIETIES


There are given the results of studying pollen quality of Siberian pear varieties. The effect of a genotype and of weather conditions on the fertility and viability of pollen grains is shown. The varieties with high pollen quality have been revealed to be used for hybridization.

BEHAVIOR FEATURES OF RED CLOVER ON COALMINE OVERBURDEN DUMPS IN KUZBASS AND ON LEACHED CHERNOZEM SOILS IN FOREST STEPPE OF WESTERN SIBERIA


There are set out the results of studying the behavior of red clover (the variety SibNIIK 10) in sowing clover-cereal mixture on coalmine overburden dumps in Kuzbass and in sowing red clover (the varieties SibNIIK 10 and Meteor) together with timothy grass on leached chernozem soils in the neighborhood of village Krasnoobsk, Novosibirsk Region. There are given the data of calculating seed productivity and carrying capacity of single-crop and mixed sowings of red clover and timothy grass.

OPISTHORCHID INFECTION RATE OF CYPRINID FISH IN THE NOVOSIBIRSK WATER RESERVOIR


There are set out the results of investigating fish of the family Cyprinidae captured in the Novosibirsk water reservoir. Local foci of opisthorchidosis were established to exist with nonmigratory forms of cyprinids inhabiting the area of water reservoir. The foci of the greatest danger have been revealed.

EVALUATING THE EFFECT OF PROBIOTIC AGENTS ON THE ANIMAL ORGANISM AT PATHOLOGIES OF GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT


The findings of investigations on applying probiotic agents to recover the successful functioning of gastrointestinal tract in young cattle are given. It has been established that the enrichment of probiotic agents with prebiotics stimulates recovering animals and reduces periods of diseases.

MINIMIZING AUTUMN DEEP BLADE CULTIVATION OF SIBERIAN CHERNOZEM SOILS


There are given the summary of investigations on applying a method for alternative minimization of soil cultivation with an element of strip deepening in forest steppe areas near the River Ob in the Novosibirsk Region and near the River Irtysh in the Omsk Region. It has been established that this method allows reducing a deformation degree in tilled layer, increasing moisture accumulation in soil, and improving energy saving of the operation.

EFFECT OF FEEDING SILAGE OF THE SUNFLOWER VARIETY BELOSNEZHKA ON PRODUCTIVITY OF NEW RED-AND-WHITE COWS


There are set out the results of investigating the effect of feeding silage of the fodder crop Belosnezhka on milk productivity of New Red-and-White cows. Feeding this silage was established to be expedient not only during the period of maximum milk yielding but also in subsequent months of lactation in animals.
