USE OF SATELLITE SURVEY DATA AND GIS FOR GEOMORPHOLOGICAL ZONING OF A TERRITORY


There are presented the data of geomorphological zoning the territory of Omsk Region using satellite imagery of average spatial resolution and GIS technologies. Based on technologies for processing the remote Earth sensing data, on topographical materials, geoinformation analysis and three-dimensional relief model, the boundaries of areas have been refined, and the digital geomorphological mean-scale map has been developed.

DEVELOPMENT AND STUDY OF A SET OF TRITICALE FORMS AS TO THE Vrn GENES


There were developed and studied 6x triticale forms having the vernalization gene of the mutant rye Korotkostebelnaya 69, and 8x triticale forms inherited a distinction in the length of vegetation period from wheat Triple Dirk bearing the Vrn1 — Vrn4 genes.

RESULTS OF ADAPTIVE BREEDING OF SPRING COMMON WHEAT IN ALTAI

TERMS AND DURATION OF ORNAMENTAL EFFECT OF HERBACEOUS PERENNIALS UNDER CONDITIONS OF FOREST STEPPE IN ALTAI TERRITORY


The growth and development rhythms in 51 species and varieties of herbaceous perennials from 14 families have been studied. The terms and duration of ornamental effect have been established, classification according to height and application type has been carried out.

EFFECT OF MILK WHEY CONCENTRATE ON NATURAL RESISTANCE AND GROWTH PARAMETERS IN JAPANESE QUAILS


There are presented the results of investigations on introducing milk whey concentrate into a Japanese quails’ diet. It has been established that such diets stimulate accelerated growth of birds as well as increase their natural resistance factors.

MEAT PRODUCTIVITY OF HEREFORD CALVES DEPENDING ON A LEVEL OF METABOLIC PROCESSES IN THE ORGANISM


There was studied the dynamics of average daily gains and live weights in Hereford calves in the period of their physiological development (up to 15 months’ age). It has been established that meat productivity depends on a level of protein metabolism intensity, on age and sex of the animals.

ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PROPERTIES OF VETERINARY MEDICINAL PRODUCT GYNODIXINE


The results of investigating the anti-inflammatory activity of the gynecological veterinary medicinal product Gynodixine are presented. It has been established that the anti-inflammatory action of the preparation is based on its anti-edematous effect, on activation of reparative processes and antioxidant status of the organism, on increasing the reactivity of neutrophils, and on decreasing their activity related to generating active oxygen metabolites.

APPLYING SIBERIAN FIR EXTRACT INHALATIONS TO INCREASE RESISTANCE OF CHICKENS VACCINATED AGAINST INFECTIOUS BRONCHITIS


There are set out the findings of investigations on applying Siberian fir extract to spray it in rooms with chickens vaccinated against infectious bronchitis. It has been established that inhalations disinfect the air in a room and stimulate hemopoiesis as well as positively influence a state of the immune system and increase safety of poultry, productivity, and economic indices.

PRODUCTIVITY OF GRAIN CROPS DEPENDING ON SOWING METHOD SIMULATION


The findings of long-term investigations on the impact of sowing methods on grain crop productivity are given. The analysis of domestic and foreign means of mechanization for sowing and the effectiveness to use them in cereal cropping under conditions of the southern forest steppe areas in Western Siberia is presented.

ON MODELING OPTIMAL MOVEMENT TRAJECTORIES OF A FIELD MACHINE


The methods are suggested to preform a movement scheme for a field machine with the least overlap areas in adjacent passages of a unit. The supplementary equipment for use with a tractor and a baler to provide unloading rolls into a line is presented.
