SELECTING SPECIALIZED VARIETIES OF COMMON MILLETTO USE AS FODDER AND FOOD
There are given the results of studying recognized and promising varieties of common millet in respect to specialized use. It is noted that the varieties differ in height and vigor of haulm stand, early ripeness, resistance to stress factors of environment and productivity. The varieties being the most promising for grain-mowing use have been revealed.

EMBRYO SAC DEVELOPMENT IN ERYTHRONIUM SIBIRICUM
Peculiarities of embryo sac development were analyzed in Erythronium sibiricum, a representative of Mongolian-Siberian area. Embryo sac development was established to follow the pattern of Fritillaria. There was considered the effect of vertical physiological gradient of embryo sac on its polarity (the micropyle-chalaza).

FUSARIOSES OF BROAD BEANSIN FOREST-STEPPE OF WESTERN SIBERIA
There are set out the results of studying species composition of fusarial etiologic agents in broad beans under conditions of forest-steppe in Western Siberia. There is given the description of features of fusariose manifestations accompanied by authors’ photos. There is shown the effectiveness of presowing treatment of broad bean seeds against Fusarium infections.

EFFECTIVENESS OF USING VITAMINSIN FEEDING FEMALE GEESE
There are set out the results of investigations on using higher doses of vitamins A, E and C in feeding female geese. It has been established that using a complex of these vitamins has a negative effect on poultry productivity, and using vitamin C alone furthers receiving a greater number of eggs.
