Under conditions of protected ground in Eastern Transbaikalia, there were tested the species and varieties of the genus Ficus L. On the basis of the modified success estimation scale, there were revealed the most promising species to be used in phytodesign.

There are given the results of investigations on studying variability of the adaptive reaction to low environmental temperatures in Black-and-White calves. The biodiversity of the adaptive reaction of calves to low environmental temperature has been revealed. The hereditary-deter¬mined dependence of a type of thermoregulation to cold in calves on a type of thermoregulation in their female parent has been established.

There was studied the epizootic process intensity of bovine brucellosis depending on properties of causal organisms circulating in the territory of infection nidi. There were revealed the interrelations of brucella variability processes in vivo and continuous action of the organism’s immune factors on microbial cells.
PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL AND BACTERIOLOGICAL INDICESOF MILK IN COWS DISEASED WITH LEUKOSIS
There are given the results of organoleptic, physical-chemical and bacteriological examinations of milk in cows infected and diseased with leukosis. It has been established that milk of animals infected with leukosis virus does not differ from that of healthy cows. The considerable degree of bacterial pollution of milk in animals diseased with leukosis has been revealed.
