USING THE METHOD OF TAXONOMIC ANALYSIS FOR TERRITORIAL REGIONALIZATION AND TYPIFICATION OF AGROLANDSCAPES ACCORDING TO THEIR EROSION DEGREE

The qualitative characteristic method of susceptibility of agrolandscapes to water and wind erosion based on the idea of building taxonomic index of the development level of Z. Helwig is proposed. On the basis of integral estimations degrees of erosion and wind erosion of tillage the territorial regionalization and typification of agrolandscapes of the Altai Territory are carried out to develop agriculture systems on landscape basis.

RESULTS AND PROSPECTS OF THE STUDY OF SUDAN GRASS CULTURE IN SIBERIA

Results of study and development of this culture in Siberia of XXI century are summed up. Its productivity potential is shown in comparison with traditional forage objects. Progress in breeding of local varieties in scientific research institutions of Siberia is marked since establishment of the Siberian Branch of the Lenin All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences (Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences) that has positive effect on seed farming stability of the culture and its industrial development.

FORMING HIGH PRODUCTIVITY OF PEDIGREE SHEEP OF THE FINE-WOOLED ALTAI BREED. THEORY AND PRACTICE OF THEIR FULL-VALUED FEEDING

Some aspects of forming record high productivity of Altai merinosas well as theory and practice (norm) of their full-valued feeding at winter stabling period on pedigree farms of Western Siberia are stated. Recommendations on enhancement (detailing) of feeding norms for high-producing pedigree sheep of the Altai fine-wooled breed are given after their large-scale production control.

SPATIAL ORIENTATION OF COLLAGEN FIBERS OF PORCINE PAROTID GLAND

By means of scanning electron microscopy the spatial orientation of collagen fibers of porcine parotid glands is studied. It is proposed that such organization of the connective tissue network provides a stable counteracting force against compressing and stretching actions of myoepithelial cells during secretion movement as well as resistance against biophysical movements caused by mastication and suction.

EFFECT OF “ENVIRONMENTAL ENRICHMENT” AT REGROUPING ON THE BEHAVIOR OF YOUNG PIGS IN CONDITIONS OF DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIES

Features of forming hierarchy in groups of young pigs are studied in the conditions of different technologies using “environmental enrichment” methods. It is shown that on the day of regrouping the “environmental enrichment” by saw dust reduces substantially the frequency of aggressive interactions of pigs.

INTERFERON INDUCING PROPERTIES OF CYTOPATHOGENIC ISOLATES OF THE VIRUS OF VIRAL DIARRHEA AS A DISEASE OF CATTLE MUCOUS TUNICS IN VITRO AND IN VIVO

There are presented the results of the study of interferon inducing properties of cytopathogenic isolates of the virus of viral diarrhea, a disease of mucous tunics. The isolates are obtained from cell cultures of ill Siberian animals at experimental challenge of 4-6 months old calves that are seronegative to the virus.

BIOCHEMICAL VARIABILITY OF ISOLATES ESCHERICHIA COLI O157:H7

It is stated that farm animals are carriers of the colon bacillus Escherichia coli of a serotype O157:H7. This bacillus causes human diarrhea, hemorrhagic colitis and hemolytic-uremic syndrome. Biochemical heterogeneity of isolates E. coli О157:Н7 obtained from various animal species and people is determined.
