There were studied the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of plant communities in steppe pastures and floodplain haylands grown on different kinds of soils. There were determined the stores of underground and top phytomass of communities. There were revealed the features of forming biochemical composition of grasses depending on environment-forming factors.

SOIL-CLIMATIC POTENTIAL OF DIFFERENT AGRICULTURAL LANDS AND ITS EFFECT ON SPRING WHEAT PRODUCTIVITY UNDER CONDITIONS OF DRY STEPPE ZONE OF BURYATIA
There are considered the agrochemical and agrophysical properties of soil of experimental land plots on northern and southern slopes as well as soil humidity and temperature as to each relief element within the transect range. The potential and efficient soil fertility was revealed; the parameters of these characters were determined by transect points.

FEATURES OF SOIL ORGANIC MATTER OF ARABLE LANDS IN DRY STEPPE OF WESTERN TRANSBAIKALIA
There are shown the regional features of humus of chestnut soils in Western Transbaikalia under any system of arable land use. The organic matter composition of old arable land was determined. The quantitative values of labile compounds being a part of soil organic carbon were established. The most promising techniques to improve humus condition of the present-day chestnut soils were revealed.

There is shown the negative effect of nitrogen fertilizers on nodule formation and N2 fixation of pea and soybean. The efficiency of applying rhizotorphin and nitrogen fertilizers depending on species and varietal features of grain-legume crops has been determined.

FEATURES OF FLAX SPECIMENS DISTRIBUTION AS TO AGGREGATE OF PRODUCTION CHARACTERS
The rating of distribution of flax varieties and hybrids grown under conditions of the Tomsk Region as to aggregate of some production characters is given. The hybrid forms being notable for higher production characters are promising for variety trial; the most optimal growing conditions have been revealed.

REGULATION OF CHICKPEA (CICER ARIETINUM L.) MORPHOGENESIS BY MEANS OF MECHANOACTIVATED MATERIALS AND ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION
The effects of growth-regulating substances prepared by mechanochemical methods from natural raw materials (peat, fir greenery, larch bark, sunflower raw waste and rice husk) as well as ones of electromagnetic radiation upon chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) morphogenesis have been studied. In a case of chickpea growth and development regulation, the influence characteristics and the optimal doses have been determined.

USE OF NEW GENETIC SOURCES IN BREEDING OF BIRD CHERRY FOR LARGE-FRUITED CONDITION
The preliminary results of crossing among the most large-fruited bird cherry forms are given. The possibility to receive the positive transgression of fruit mass in hybrid families is noted. The characteristic of 17 hybrids with large fruits, good taste and fruitfulness is cited.

PECULIARITIES OF MORPHOSTRUCTURE OF SWEET-BERRY HONEYSUCKLE BUSH IN CONNECTION WITH PRODUCTIVITY
The morphophenotypic characters influencing the productivity were established on the basis of comparative study of bush structure peculiarities of sweet-berry honeysuckle specimens and analysis of multi-year data on their productivity. Combination of them makes development of high-productive genotypes possible.

There were tested the various doses of brine worm eggs in rations of hens in industrial flocks. The increase of egg-laying qualities in experimental groups by 25.3 to 31.1 % was established.

CONSERVATISM IN DNA OF 3’-UNTRANSLATED REGION OF THE GRО 1 GENE IN REINDEERS
The DNA of the 3’-untranslated region of the GRО 1 gene in reindeers (Rangifer tarandus) was sequenced. Comparison of the cervine DNA sequence with the homologous region of the bovine GRО 1 gene revealed a high level (95 %) of sequence identity. The single nucleotide polymorphisms among 8 reindeers examined were not identified.

INTENSIFICATION OF GRINDED FODDER GRAIN SEPARATION AND OPERATING EFFICIENCY INDICES OF THREE-STAGE GRINDER WITH USING AIR FLOW
The impact of ejection effect on a particle moving in separating surface was considered. The condition providing free passing of a grinded particle through a hole of the sieve was determined. The dependences of changing radial, tangential and absolute velocities of air flow in the holes of separating surface were obtained. The operating efficiency of the three-stage grinder with using ejection effect in behind-sieve space was proved.
