VARIABILITY OF SOFT SPRING WHEAT GRAIN YIELD ON STATE SORT PLOTS OF THE TOMSK REGION
Z. ANDREEVA, R. TSILKE
At strain testing of soft spring wheat on 3 sort plots of the Tomsk region from 1996 to 2000 (on 4 sort plots from 1998 to 2000), it was stated that the grain yield is strongly dependent on the complex of natural and technological factors taking place on different sort plots. The average grain yield varied for different sorts from 11,8 to 55,6 centners/hectare depending on the year and sort plot. Two-factor variance analysis showed that the influence part of a factor A (sort) varied from 0,9 (1998) to 17,2 % (1996); the influence part of a factor B (sort plot) varied from 56,6 (1996) to 92,8 % (1998); interactions of these two factors (A ґ B) varied from 1,4 (1998) to 12,4 % (1996). According to results of one-factor variance analysis, the part of genotypic variability in the total phenotypic variability of the grain crop yield fluctuated from 11,1 (1998) to 97,2 % for the Asinovsky sort plot.
CULTIVATION FEATURES OF VIRUSLESS POTATO IN THE OB REGION FOREST STEPPE
S. VYSHEGUROV
The utilization efficiency of various methods of accelerated reproduction of seed potato improved by an apical meristem method was studied. Culturing features of potato varieties from different ripeness groups are shown. The estimation of productivity and quality indices for tubers of the improved virusless potato is given.
RESISTANCE ESTIMATION OF TOMATOES AGAINST NON-REGULATED ABIOTIC FACTORS
E. YURLOVA
The complex genotype set estimation on gametophyte (pollen) and sporophyte (yield elements) properties is given according to reaction and various environmental factors needed to increase the efficiency of the tomato selection process.
TECHNOLOGICAL SUPPORT ENHANCEMENT OF HERB SEED POSTHARVEST TREATMENT
V.DOMRACHOV, A.SHEVCHENKO
A fundamentally new complex approach to the solution of the technological support enhancement problem of the herb seed posthavest treatment is presented.
OATS SELECTION IN THE SIBERIAN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURE
N. SMISHCHUK, S. VASIUKEVICH
More than 200 new oats samples of the VIR collection are presented. The most productive, resistant to diseases and large-grained of them are chosen. A characteristic of three new oats varieties obtained by intervarietal hybridization method with subsequent individual selection is given. The last varieties are included in the State register of selection achievements.
LEPIDOCIDE AND PHYTOVERM FOR BLACKCURRANT PROTECTION AGAINST PHYTOPHAGANS
M. VASKIN, M. SHTERNSHIS
Results of laboratory and field tests of ecologically safe preparations lepidocide SK and phytoverm KE against blackcurrant phytophagans are presented for the conditions of the Novosibirsk region. Main pests on blackcurrant plants are disclosed. The optimal concentrations of the indicated preparations needed to protect blackcurrant plantings against the most widespread pests are determined.
PHYTOSANITARY SITUATION FEATURES IN AGROCOENOSISES OF DIFFERENT SPRING WHEAT VARIETIES
N. VLASENKO, B. TEPLIAKOV, R. FISECHKO, O. TEPLIAKOVA, N. POSKOLNY
Different sensitiveness of two fast-ripening middle-early spring wheat varieties of Siberian selection to the introduction of nitrogen fertilizer and the use of pesticides against pathogens and pests is disclosed.
METHODS TO OBTAIN SCION-ROOTED PLANTING STOCK OF APPLE-TREE FOR CREATION OF STABLE PLANTATIONS
T. MIKHAILOVA, S. KHABAROV
Foundation of stable production of the scion-rooted apple-tree planting material is developed.
EFFECT OF SELENIUM AND IODINE FEEDING ON GROWTH AND SAFETY OF BROILER CHICKENS OF THE CROSS “SMENA-2″
A. ERANOV, S. SHEVCHENKO, O. GLAZUNOVA
The effect of complex selenium and iodine feeding to broiler chickens of the cross “Smena-2″ was studied. It is stated that feeding of iodite in the dose of 0,7 mg in the form of potassium and selenium iodite as an organic form (preparation Sel-Plex) has positive effect on the growth, development, safety and productive quality of the chicken.
LEVEL AND DYNAMICS OF THYROID AND SEX HORMONES OF GORNO-ALTAI DOWN BREED OF GOATS AT PREGNANCY
A. AFANASYEVA
For the first time the hormone level of thyroid (thyroxine, triiodothyronine) and sex (progesterone, estradiol-17, testosterone) glands was determined in the course of pregnancy. It was stated that preimplantation period of pregnancy (1 month) was accompanied by the increase of progesterone, testosterone, and thyroid hormones levels as well as by the fall of estradiol-17 content. In the course of pregnancy development the concentration increase of all studied hormones was noted. In the last pregnancy month the progesterone level decrease as well as the estradiol-17 level increase take place.
PROGENY TESTS OF HEREFORD HORNLESS CATTLE STUD BULLS OF THE “SADOVSKY” TYPE
P. ZOLOTARIOV
There are considered progeny tests of 39 stud bulls from the drove of the bred livestock farm “Sadovsky” (State Scientific Institution Experimental Farm of the Siberian Scientific Research and Planning Technological Institute of Animal Husbandry) for 2001–2004. The data of the best 19 of them are presented.
It is stated that the stud bull Veterok 1109 has shown the best results of 186 bull-sons. The obtained scientific data allow changing the usage character of stud bulls at creation of the new hornless cattle type “Sadovsky” (approved 29th August 2005; included to the Register of selection achievements and permitted to the use under number 39885 from 10th August 2005).

The generic structure estimation of the pollen load mycobiota of melliferous bees is presented. The mycobiota was gathered at apiaries of the southern part of Western Siberia in 2003–2005. Fungus species were extracted from 19 genera. According to occurence frequency, three genera were related to the dominating, one genus – to typically frequent, one genus – to typically rare, and the rest 13 were related to random genera. The species of the genera Penicillium, Aspergillus, Mucor dominate in the structure of fungus communities.

Results of comparative indication of Fusobacterium necrophorum with the help of bacteriological analysis and using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with nested primers are presented. The developed diagnostic test system specificity is shown: the positive analysis of PCR products takes place only then DNA F. necrophorum was used as a matrix, the negative analysis takes place when using DNA of the other microorganisms. At the positive biological test on white mice in all cases the bacteriological analysis of biomaterial from affected extremities coincided with the positive PCR result.

E.OGRYZKOV, V.OGRYZKOV, P.OGRYZKOV
It is shown that the work and abrasive wear of the soil cutting blades (plowshares) in field conditions are fundamentally differed from laboratory conditions.
Reasons of the development of wear bevels (“relieves”’) with relieving angles on rear parts of blades as well as curvilinearity of their surface wear are revealed. Wear rates are considered at different thickness of blades.
