TOTAL CALCIUM DYNAMICS OF BLOOD SERUM OF MAST-FED CATTLE YOUNGSTERS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF SELENIUM AND IODINE FEEDING
The experiment was carried out on mast-fed youngsters of Black-and-White cattle at the age of 6 to 12 months. It is shown that adding selenium and iodine supplements and their combinations to a diet being deficient in these microelements positively affects a level of total calcium of blood serum. There is noted the more pronounced effect of mutual action of selenium and iodine on the characteristics studied than action of each taken separately.
