INFLUENCE OF PRESOWING TREATMENT OF BARLEY SEEDS
WITH PLANT GROWTH REGULATORS
ON PHYTOSANITARY STATE OF SEEDS AND SOIL
The positive influence of presowing treatment of spring barley seeds with plant growth regulators has been established under conditions of Central Yakutia. It is shown that this technique improves the phytosanitary state of seed grain and harvest grain and decreases population of root rot causative agent in soil. Albit suppresses the pathogenic flora most effectively after both presowing seed treatment and harvest grain treatment. Sowing qualities are improved after application of Novosil, with that laboratory germination of barley increases by 8.3%, of harvest grain seeds by 13.2%. In soil under barley, the density of Bipolaris sorokiniana conidia decreases 2.9 times as compared with the control, when growing seeds treated with Albit, and 2.7 times, when used Novosil.

EFFECT OF MINIMIZING SOIL CULTIVATION
ON ACCUMULATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF ROOT ROT AGENTS
IN CROP-FALLOW ROTATION
There are presented the results of long-term research into the process of developing root rot causative agents in grain-fallow rotation under various systems of basic cultivation of leached chernozem soils in the areas near the Ob – tillage, nonmoldboard, minimum and zero cultivation. It has been established that the development of root rots in the spring wheat sowings depends on weather conditions. In the years with sufficient moistening, a rate of affecting spring wheat sowings by root rots on tillage was 30% lower as compared with soil-protecting treatments. When moistening of vegetation was deficient, affectation of spring wheat, a final crop of rotation, in soil-protecting variations approached a level of tillage. Under temperate soil moistening, the disease index varied from 6.8% on tillage to 8.5% on soil-protecting treatments, under moistening in very short supply from 17.9 to 19.6%, respectively. In connection with that, cancellation of seed treatment causes the total worsening of phytosanitary situation in the spring wheat sowings under various levels of minimizing soil cultivation. Accumulation of B. sorokiniana agents in soil of forest steppe in Western Siberia brings to increasing risk of root rot epiphytoties and the considerable yield losses. Measures on seed treatment are characterized by the high profitability indices in grain production.

VARIABILITY OF KERNEL-PRODUCING CAPACITY OF SPIKE
IN SPRING COMMON WHEAT DEPENDING ON GENOTYPE
AND GROWING CONDITIONS IN FOREST-STEPPE AREAS
NEAR THE OB
There are presented the results of research into the variability of kernel-producing capacity of spike in varieties and lines of spring common wheat depending on genotype, sowing date, forecrops and growing conditions. The experiment was carried out in the forest-steppe areas near the Ob in Western Siberia, and the field experimental data obtained were verified by the three-factor variance analysis. A contribution of the genotypic variance to general variability of the trait made up from 35.4 to 55.2 %, while a proportion of variance caused by a sowing date was from 9.1 to 16.9%, and that caused by forecrop diversity from 1.4 to 5.4 %. The average kernel weight of the spike in early-ripening varieties was 0.98 g on fallow and 0.82 g while grown in land ploughed in autumn; in mid-early varieties and lines 1.15 and 0.95, respectively, and in mid-late ones 1.48 and 1.22. These data indicate of a significant influence of forecrops and duration of spring common wheat growing period on the kernel-producing capacity of the spike. It has been established that sowing dates have a considerable influence as well: an early sowing date increases the kernel-producing capacity of the spike on fallow and on a grain forecrop more than a late sowing date does.

RADICAL IMPROVEMENT OF DEGRADED IRRIGATED GRASSLANDS
IN DRY STEPPE OF BURYATIA
There are submitted the results of studying a change in productivity of natural grassland as a result of its radical improvement by using the perennial grass varieties developed at the Buryat Research Institute of Agriculture. The comparative yielding capacity and productive longevity of the new perennial grass varieties used both as monotype grass stand and for sowing as bluegrass-legume mixtures have been determined. The observations carried out indicate of stable longevity of alfalfa – its part in the harvest in the seventh year of using exceeds 20% in all variants. The productive longevity of Siberian ryegrass is limited by 4 years, of slender wheatgrass by 5-6 years. The longest productive longevity was registered in Bromopsis inermis: in the seventh year of using, it formed about 26% of biomass in grass mixture.

EFFECT OF CERTAIN AGRICULTURAL METHODS
ON YIELDING CAPACITY
OF FIRST-GENERATION SUNFLOWER HYBRIDS
There are given the results of research into determining the optimal agricultural techniques for growing sunflower hybrids to obtain high-quality seeds under conditions of the southern forest steppe in Omsk Region. It has been established that, in order to obtain high-productive first-generation seeds of the sunflower hybrids Avangard and Avrora, the optimal density of planting paternal forms at hybridization plots makes up 40 and 60 ths/ha, respectively. The best date for sowing the hybrids Avangard and Avrora at hybridization plots was revealed to be May, 20 (required warming of soil at the depth of 10 sm no less than 10-12°C). Relationship between rows of paternal and maternal plants at hybridization plots should make up 4:12 (4 paternal lines and 12 maternal ones). The optimal dose of the preparation Reglon Super for dessication of hybridization plots is 2 l/ha at seed humidity of 32-35%.

COMPARATIVE STUDY OF ELEMENT COMPOSITION OF LEAVES
AND FLOWERS IN CERTAIN SPECIES OF THE GENUS ARTEMISIA L.
Distribution of element structure in leaves and flowers of certain representatives of wormwoods (Artemisia L.) growing in the forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia (Novosibirsk Region) was investigated by the method of X-ray fluorescence analysis using synchrotron radiation. Concentrations of 21 chemical elements were defined. All seven wormwood species studied contain a considerable amount of iron. Its content in the leaves varies from 130 мg/g to the maximum of 551 мg/g (A. gmelinii), and in the flowers from 101 to 533 мg/g (A. sieversiana). As to a level of manganese accumulation, wormwoods are related to concentrators of this element. It has been established that the raw material investigated contains significant amounts of the vital chemical elements and do not practically contain certain heavy metals. Concentration of harmful chemical elements in the samples of wormwood species studied is in the range of background values and does not exceed permissible levels, and does not represent danger to human health.

EFFECT OF EARLY SHEARING OF PRIKATUNSKIY EWES
ON THEIR REPRODUCTIVE CAPACITY
There are presented the results of the experiment on early shearing of Prikatunskiy ewes during the lambing period in April as opposed to the conventional date in June under conditions of the Altai Republic. There are given the dynamics of ewe liveweight from beginning of lambing in April to beginning of insemination on the 20th of November, a degree of impregnation capacity and breeding power of ewes depending on shearing date, safety of lambs from birth to weaning at the age of 90 days. It is shown that a new technique is economically sound as compared with the conventional technology. Shearing in April, during lambing, and weaning of lambs at the age of 3 months had a positive effect on reproductive capacity of ewes: breeding power made up 123% against 111% when used the conventional approach, safety of lambs was 4.7% higher and their liveweight 22.6% higher. Impregnation capacity of ewes in the experimental group was higher than that in the control by 4.3%.

EFFECT OF GENOTYPE OF BOARS
AS TO STRESS RESISTANCE MARKER RYR1
ON THEIR REPRODUCTIVE QUALITIES
There was evaluated the gene pool of boars bred in Ireland as to DNA marker RYR1 performed at LLC «Verdazernoprodukt», Ryazan Region. It was shown that Duroc boars carrying the genotype Nn of the ryanodine receptor gene (RYR1), when mated with the F1 hybrid sows, had the average number of live-born piglets per one farrow by 0.2 head less than boars carrying the genotype NN of the gene RYR1 did, and the nest weight at the age of 2 months was by 19.8 kg lower. In pure-breeding, the Duroc boars carrying the genotype Nn of the gene RYR1 had the average number of piglets per one farrow by 2.3 heads higher, of live-born ones by 2 heads, of weaned ones per sow by 0.6 head; the average nest weight at the age of 2 months, the weight of one head at the same age and safety of piglets by weaning were lower by 14.4 kg, 3.4 kg and 8.5%, respectively, than those of boars carrying the genotype NN of the gene RYR1 were. It has been concluded that the use of boars, latent carriers of the genotype Nn, influence negatively the productivity indices of Duroc pigs that might be conditioned by segregation-out of recessive homozygotes, that is RYR1 nn.

EFFECT OF FEED CONCENTRATE ZEOSKO ON PREVENTION
OF SUBCLINICAL MYCOTOXICOSIS IN CHICKENS
There are submitted the results of research into the sorption capacity of feed concentrate zeosko towards the strains E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus as well as into the toxigenic activity of zeosko towards the fungus Fusarium Sporotrichinella. It has been established that feed concentrate zeosko and its components, sahaptine and pine nut shells, have the positive effect on liveweight gains in chickens. In the group of chickens, a diet for which contained 5% of zeosko, liveweight gain was 41.5% higher than that in the control; in the chickens, a diet for which contained such an additive as sahaptine, 3.7% higher, and in the case of pine nut shells 9.7%. An increase towards the chickens, which were fed with mycosorb, was 30.5%. When checking the effect of feed concentrate zeosko on the duration of action at subclinical mycotoxicosis, safety of chickens over 63 days of the experiment made up 100%. Liveweight gain of one chicken in the group, where feed was supplemented with 5% of zeosko and 6% of the fungus culture F. Sporotrichinella (616 mg/kg T-2), was 2.7% higher than the indices in the control group, and 12% higher than those of chickens, which were on a diet containing 6% of the fungus culture. At the end of the experiment, hematological and biochemical investigations of chickens’ blood were conducted.

SUBSTANTIATION AND CALCULATION
OF UNIVERSAL ROLLER SUSPENSION FOR SEEDING MACHINES
There is submitted the calculation of universal roller suspension for tilthmaker Lider 4 and tillage-and-seeding machine Ob-43T. The mathematical equations developed allow us, taking features of the suspension design and geometrical dimensions of a roller into consideration, to calculate points of bracket mounting on the machine frame. Based on the calculations, universal roller suspension has been manufactured that allow re-positioning rollers in machines depending on their connection by simple re-mounting brackets without additional equipment that eliminates forming ridges between rollers. A small deviation of field profile, while in operation of this universal suspension, makes up ± 1 sm that meets agrotechnical requirements to seeding machines.

PROCESSING OF OAT WITH IMPURITIES CONTENT
EXCEEDING REQUIREMENTS OF STATE STANDARD
There are given the findings of investigation into the processing of oat with impurities content exceeding the requirements of State Standard GOST 28673-90. The analysis of oat grain came into JSC Biysk Elevator (Altai Territory) to be processed for eight years past has been carried out. A process flowsheet has been suggested that allows processing oat grain with indices exceeding the requirements of normative documentation. It has been established that the use of grain length fractionation before hulling makes it possible to separate weed and grain impurities effectively. With that, owing to the technology suggested, the content of impurities in the finished product, oatmeal, does not exceed the requirements of normative documentation, and mass fraction of grain in screening is less than 5%.

EXHAUST GAS HEAT TRANSPORT
IN DISCHARGING SYSTEM OF DIESEL ENGINES
An attempt to investigate the heat exchange process between discharging system of diesel engine and the environment was made for the purpose of determining amount of waste heat. There was refined the model of thermal balance of discharging system, based on which the calculation of heat exchange process between discharging system of diesel engine D-240 and the environment was carried out. It has been revealed that waste heat of exhaust gases in discharging system are caused by the phenomena of convection and radiant heat exchange. Portions of convective and radiant losses are approximately equal and make up from 44 to 58% depending on environmental conditions and design features of discharging system of engine. Under these conditions, waste heat of exhaust gases may reach 31%, with that the potential of residual heat is 19480 kcal/hour. Dependence of residual heat on a length of exhaust tract has been established by way of example of diesel engine D-240.

HARMONIZATION OF ENGINEERING TOOLS’ PARAMETERS
IN GRAIN CROP HARVESTING
The process of grain crop harvesting in interrelation of harvesting, transport and grain-cleaning links has been considered. Operator scheme of grain crop harvesting, which shows interrelated links of harvesting, transportation and post-harvesting processing of grain, has been designed. Economic and mathematical models have been developed to substantiate availability of equipment and structure of harvesting-transportation links. An expression for performance of grain-cleaning machine grounded on quantity and reliability of grain harvesters has been found. The results of investigating target functions are given in the form of graph. Dependence between capacity of grain tank and performance of grain-cleaning machine has been found. Nomographs for determining performance of grain-cleaning machine and capacity of grain tank have been developed.

DIALLEL ANALYSIS OF THE NUMBER OF SPIKELETS
PER SPIKE IN SPRING TRITICALE
There was developed a computer program for calculating the general and specific combining ability of spring triticale varieties and for carrying out the genetic analysis of parent material as to quantitative traits. The necessity to develop the environment of experiment and software for triticale has been noted. In order to eliminate probable aneuploids of the crop, a need for a great number of repetitions in experimenting has been recommended. The technique of carrying out the diallel analysis has been described. The program was tested on hybrids experimentally obtained by crossing four spring triticale varieties according to a complete diallel scheme. The peculiarity of the genetic system for controlling quantitative traits of spring triticale was revealed by means of software developed. A variety being promising for breeding the trait «the number of spikelets per spike» in spring triticale was revealed.

MODERN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES
IN MANAGING AGRIBUSINESS ENTERPRISES
The theoretical basis and the problems of using modern information technologies at all levels of management of agribusiness industry are outlined. The experience of the countries, which have chosen a way of innovative agrarian development, in organizing information service is shown. The information retrieval system ASU-IPS has been suggested as a tool to form information resources at regional, district and enterprise levels. It represents the whole set of software, language and engineering tools for storage, retrieval, calculations and information outputting on request. The software product PPP-Graph Plotter functioning both in association with ASU-IPS and independently has been suggested to visualize relationship of showings and to analyze actual, predictable and planned processes.

INFLUENCE OF TECHNOLOGY FOR OBTAINING BIOSUBSTANCES
FROM BY-PRODUCTS OF ANTLERED DEER FARMING
ON THEIR BIOCHEMICAL COMPOSITION
There was studied an influence of two technologies for developing biological substances from by-products of antlered deer farming, vacuum drying and drying with the use of SHF heating in combination with vacuum, on the average indices of labor hour costs for obtaining biosubstances and on their biochemical composition. It has been established that the application of SHF heating in by-product drying technology provides for certain a reduction in time by 18.9-48.6% and obtaining biosubstances of high quality. Based on the biosubstances obtained, ethanolic extracts were developed according to various technological schemes, and their biochemical evaluation was carried out. The ethanolic extracts made with the use of five-day freezing-out exceed for certain the samples without freezing-out in mass fraction of protein 1.8 times and in fatty acids sum by 11.7%. The ethanolic extract based on biosubstances of five types showed the maximum biological activity – 77.6%.

DEVELOPING TECHNOLOGY FOR MEAT MINCING
BY IMPACT CUTTING
Theoretical substantiation of impact meat cutter has been considered. There are given the results of experimental investigation into evaluating minced meat, obtained as a result of mincing meat by impact cutting, as compared with conventional mincing by oblique-sliding apparatus MIM-300. It has been established that minced meat, obtained as a result of mincing by impact meat cutter, possesses higher moisture-coupling capacity and better functional-technological properties. It has been revealed that summer sausage, produced from this minced meat, exceeds the similar products, obtained by cutter of oblique-sliding apparatus MIM-300, in quality and organoleptic indices.

IDENTIFICATION OF BACTERIA OF THE GENUS LACTOBACILLUS
USING PCR TEST SYSTEM
There are submitted the results of investigations into selecting and constructing novel genusand species-specific primers, allowing identification of bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus. There was studied a possibility to apply PCR test systems at microbiological laboratories of dairy industrial enterprises for quality control and examination of cultured milk foods manufactured. There were revealed the optimal values of amplification parameters (temperature, incubation time, the number of cycles) of the gene 16S rRNA of lactic acid bacteria. Theoretical specificity of the primers synthesized was confirmed experimentally on bacterial starter concentrates and commercial dairy products. It has been established that the primers possess high specificity towards a certain species of microorganism only. They allow us to detect a difference with respect to other bacteria and determine their quantitative content in the product.

ECONOMIC-MATHEMATICAL MODELS IN AGRICULTURE
(In commemoration of the 100th birthday of academician L.V. Kantorovich)
The economic-mathematical models for the simultaneous calculation of agricultural product prices, land rent estimates, and other indices, based on the linear programming theory are presented. The linear optimization model of production has allowed to study structure, quantity interdependences between the indices and to find the formula for their connection. Two other models, nonlinear optimization and balance, can be used for calculation of the product prices and land rent estimates for generally efficient real production programmes. It is shown that the indices, found with the use of these models, possess the properties similar to those of the Kantorovich objectively determined estimates, obtained in the production linear optimization models. In the balance model, one can determine land rent estimates depending principally on the natural properties of land and the combination of the circumstances of its use. Similar models are of importance in practice for calculation of the economic indices for purposes of the state regulation of agriculture and serve as convenient analytic tools for the theoretical analysis of land rent problems. The special features and theoretical succession of the models are discussed.

INCREASING SUSTAINABILITY OF RURAL AREAS
(BY WAY OF EXAMPLE OF SLOBODOBESHKILSKOE VILLAGE,
TYUMEN REGION)
Social and economic conditions of a rural settlement has been analysed, the complex estimation of its development is given, directions of diversification of the rural economy have been considered based on the effective use of resources in new kinds of agricultural and nonagricultural activity. Measures for increasing sustainability of rural areas, namely the development of small forms of economic management and the forming of rural tourism sphere, have been suggested. The project «Production and sales of bee products» to help a rural family be fully self-sufficient has been developed and prepared to be introduced. Realization of the measures specified should promote increasing economic efficiency of a rural settlement, expanding sources to form revenues of a budget of a municipal government unit as well as providing employment, income growth and improving quality of life of rural population.

PRESERVATION AND REPRODUCTION
OF WATER BIOLOGICAL RESOURCES IN RIVER BASINS
OF SIBERIAN FEDERAL DISTRICT
There was developed the conceptual framework of the project on preservation and reproduction of water biological resources in river basins of Siberian Federal District based on innovative technologies. There was made an offer to create particular conservation water areas in Altai, Omsk, Novosibirsk and Tomsk Regions. To restore natural habitat of valuable commercial and endangered fish species, we suggest using the thiophan antioxidant-based technologies developed. It has been established by long-term investigations that the use of an antioxidant-based technology for protecting fish at all ontogenetic stages is based on high sensitivity of the fish organism to free-radical lipid peroxidation as influenced by abiotic environmental factors. Results expected after project implementation are presented.

TESTING BIOPREPARATIONS
AGAINST BACTERIAL BLIGHT OF COMMON BEAN
There was studied the efficiency of the biological preparations baktofit, immunocitofit and their mixtures towards bacterial blight of common bean under field conditions. The subjects of research were bacterial and fungal diseases of common bean, biological preparations and chemical protectant used as a standard. Research was carried out by the method of field plot experiment. Germination, a degree of lesion by leaf infections and root rot, and yield were recorded during all vegetation period. The effect of biopreparations on germination of common bean depended on weather conditions of a year. In 2009, the lowest level of bacterial blight was observed in the baktofit variation (1.5 times lower than in control), in 2010 – in the immunocitofit variation (3.4 times). The synergistic effect from using the mixture of the biopreparations was not obtained. It was revealed that the yield of common bean increased as influenced by all the preparations studied. The highest yield was recorded in 2009 in the baktofit variation (2.2 t/ha), in 2010 – in the biopreparation mixture variation (2 t/ha).
